I must admit, even though I have the 1M, I also want the e90/92 M3's high revving V8. I test drove quite a couple of these M3's and the 1M is just not as complete a package as the M3. Make no mistake, it's darn close.

But I would think an X35 IS a better package because PRICE is part of that no? In pure driving terms an ///M would always come out tops, but at +/- R260k for a 135 with m/plan left or about R30k less for a 335 (E90) this seems like the performance bargain of the decade, especially when you factor in the tunability...

I can almost dream of owning an x35 but an ///M is just too far out of reach price wise...
