Bonnet wont open

Just so happens that my low oil pops up.

And i cant get the bonnet open :fencelook:

Anyone had this issue and could help with a solution?
I suspect the cable has snapped as there's no tension when i pull the latch.

Oh sorry, my e36 has the same problem, cable needs to be replaced, I pull out one kidney and pull the cable from the inside:smilebounce:

The bonnet it completely shut.
Just got a quote of R1900 all inclusive to have cables replaced :thumbdo:

You might just need to get it open..you tube it...

Once its open, give it a good lube(the mechanism).

They shouldn't snap, unless you went beast mode on it.
