Well for all those that have been waiting. Some pics of the project so far. 90% complete. Brakes sorted.
Next exhaust, roof lining, windscreens, front spolier, stripes and then small minor things.Lastly a major detail clean.

Hi Guys,

New to the site but already know Luis from previous 530 MLE discussions and some others. I found this thread today from one of my many Google searches as I’ve just purchased number 23/108 530 MLE - Uli Sanne old car. 

I am from Ireland but based in the UK and really only became aware of the provenance of the 530 MLE form the well publicized No 100 restoration conducted by Luis for BMW SA. As of today, I am unaware of another 530 MLE in the UK (or Europe) that is fully functioning and running. 

Safe to say I can’t wait to get the car and put it alongside its younger E28 brother I also own.
