I wonder if its legal to sit in the back when the car is driving on a public road?

I don't think the folks who are likely to use that set up give a toss about the legalities......presently the most likely users of this set up drive in convoys with emergency flashers on, hanging full bodies out the windows and driving through red robots while a "stopper car" (which isnt a police traffic car i assure you) blocks the cross traffic. That's also illegal but that don't stop'em doing it...
