BMW upgrade to 180kw on 320i

I read somewhere that the 328i will be badged 330i in the LCI, and the 335i will be badged 340I.
Bmw has this thing where the flagship before the M has to be something new.

Like in the E30 the flagship was the 325i( bar the 325is as this was our version of the M3),
In the E36, we first saw the 328i badge, then in the E46 we first saw the 330i and in the E90 we first saw the 335i. So the F30 range we will first see the 340I

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Personally I think it will be a huge disappointment to the 330i badge with its famous exhaust tone, now be a 4 pot:blueCry:

Maybe with the added extra kw, and some updates they will also try and improve the tone of the car.

I've spent a lot of time behind the wheel of the F30 320i and also the F10 528i they just feel like BMWs with their nuts removed.

I Think that was because Supertech was taking over Forsdicks Pinetown so they were selling of many cars , new and demo at very very good prices to clear stock I think .

Can u believe a 320i pushing out 180kw. Years ago this was only possible from 3.0l and above:clapper:

Lots of power, however if in not mistaken Excede Performance took a 320i to 230KW

Yes there was mention of relocation of the dealership with aims of getting rid of stock.
