will they cancel motorplan if you drive on the track...

is it a trap :fencelook:

Apparently not... I know if Ferrari host track days then MP stay intact.

sounds like double standards to me... they should decide if they want customers to enjoy their Great cars in a safe environment or not...

but that is besides the point... Great work BMW hope you do many more Track days

Actually guys this is a BMW Club day that is sponsored by Cedar Isle Auto. Big difference.
With so little sponsors in the sport why start any negativity? Just come out and enjoy the day. If you worried about motor plan then check before you go. Simple.

MP getting cancelled because of track days (myth or not) is a big problem for those who want to enjoy their new cars in a safe environment

would you rather members go without clarity on this issue?

if anything I want BMW to do more of these  but they cant expect new cars to show if they not willing to clarify how it affects MP

Before jumping to conclusions have you or anyone asked anyone at BMW or just sly comments and innuendos on the forums where the chances of BMW seeing may be very slight?
And as for comments like this "is it a trap", do you really think BMW have the time or inclination to do this intentionally for an extremely small % of their clients?

Ive sent the organiser who works for BMW a message to ask him.

"Its a Trap" was meant to be a tongue in cheek comment not really negative...

this has been discussed before and some member have come forward saying they have had MP canceled because of a track day...

if it bothers you why not call BMW yourself and clarify instead of arguing with me about bringing up a valid point...

Im not willing to call them because what one dealer says is ok is then not ok by anothers standard and I would want a written letter stating what the story is from BMWSA before it is no longer hear say...

as you said it is best those with new cars call their dealer and clarify what their dealers stand point it

you are now putting a much bigger negative spin on the event than I ever did by starting this argument... you will notice I have said it is a great thing that BMW are doing in every post and I want to see more

why not just say "I will be there hope to see many of you guys also :) "
