Yes most certainly :fencelook: the battry mite give issues

it should be fine, just let it idle a bit for for driving, the let it warm up properly and take a nice long drive. When you back of course

One month will be fine, just check all the fluids and do the warm-ups like mentioned and you should be good.

An alternative would be a service that we as fellow BMW drivers have: We look after the car for you while you are away, making sure the engine gets idle'd etc.
Does anybody know the race schedule at Killarney for the next month :mmm: :)

The manual says you have to perform certain steps (or let the dealership do it) if the car stands for longer than 3 months, so I think you'll be fine.

I wouldn't let someone just idle it. If they go through the trouble of starting the car I think they should at least drive it till it gets to operating temperature.

I've let my 135i stand for 5 weeks with a connected battery and it was just like the day I left it when I came back. No, wait, it wasn't. It was even better than I remembered it :)

All my cars stand for long periods usually 5 weeks but up to 12 weeks. They are on a ctek charger for long term battery health. Trackers will drain the battery in 5 weeks.

I check fluids. Start car and let it idles for a few minutes. Then check fluids again. Besides batteries and tyre flat spots I have not had any bad effects of the cars standing.

I am going to try out some sand bags next time. Take a cloth bank bag with some sand in it and park with the tyres on the bags. The tyres will bed and won't develope flat spots.

There are plastic ramp tyre things that you can buy.
