Bmw software coding or programming

Hi everyone, I'm kindly asking for assistance. I drive 2014 320d f34 GT, recently there was water leakage from the sunroof due to blocked drains and the amplifier was damaged by the water. All fuse are working fine and there's power in all the cable wires to amplifier. Now after replacing the amplifier the following problems still persists:

1. No warning tones
2. Radio not playing or responding
3. Parking sensors no sound
4. Tow trailer lights failer or tow trailer electronics failer
5. Unable to set time and date

I'm looking for bmw software coding or programmer around Pretoria.

Hi Not relatable but Aggggg same issue with the head unit.

We were driving one day and then next minute Hi temp warning on the radio and it didnt respond. Me being clever DIY mechanic took terminals off the battery and since the radio doesnt turn on.

1.No warning tones.
2.Radio not playing or responding (Doesnt turn on).
3.Parking sensors no sound.
4.No seatbelt chime etc.
Its not the head unit as I tried 6 different ones. I am assuming it is the Amplifier too. But now seeing this post if I replace Amp seems will need a recode or program. I have all the softwares and D-CAN cable. Just need to learn some more on how to code etc.

Good evening, Justin that is exactly the problem i'm having as well. What i have learned with harman kardon Amplifier is that it needs to be programed but with the hi-fi system for bmw it doesn't need, it's a plug and play. I called bmw and they confirmed that it will to be programed and with them the amplifier goes for R28 000.00 excluding programing fees.

You need to figure out where the water went and what it touched. This will tell you which cable connectors are corroded/damaged and potentially which modules are damaged.

Paying coding guys to code the amplifier to the car won’t solve your issues.

Correct you can use INPA to show which modules arent Working. Lots of tutorials on Youtube about this.

I hope you managed to sort out your problem,if not just change the amplifier n u good to go. I'm going through the same,currently looking for an amplifier,already tested with my wife's amplifier.
