bmw service record retrieval

hi guys

could somebody please advise me on how to retrieve service records and comments from bmw,
im really keen on a '06 bmw, the current owner never get them when he took ownership.
i just wana make sure that all is in order and no nasty suprises

Hi Rizzo,

I contacted Eastview BMW with the VIN number of the car I intended to buy and they sent me the service record of the car which consisted of normal wear and tear items such as light bulbs, brakes, oil and filters and a noise in the exhaust which I was happy with and I bought the car.

So just contact BMW with the VIN number and ask for the service history of the car and your reason why you want the information. :thumbs:

im a bit confused, will this service record consist on major mechanical repairs (water pumps etc) as well ?
