BMW scratch/chip insurance

These people just grind my ballz. I never wanted this insurance in the first place but I forgot to mention to the F&I not to put it on my contract the day of my delivery last year. Just never popped into my head "remember to tell her not to include a product you never asked for". Then I got the whole story that if she had to take it off I could only get my car in 2 days as that is how long it would take to redo the contract. So I took it at R5000 or more.

So now a year later I want to use this "chip" insurance I have to follow the following procedure. Phone and tell them over the phone of every chip I want fixed and where it is located. Then I had to drive to Gezina from Centurion "where I live" and get them to take photos and submit a quote. Took me about 2 hours and half a tank of petrol. The guy at Gezina was at least honest, told me that he does not understand why they sell this insurance as it never does what they claim it can do. So with my new found awareness I practised acceptance and let him take the pics and submit it.

I get an sms right now asking me to contact BMW Chip Insurance to talk about my claim "So I have to phone them to talk about my claim with them". So I phone them and they tell me the pictures are not good enough and I have to take them again and resubmit them.

I am pretty pissed off right now and felt I had to vent a bit.
Anyone else have any experience with them?

WOW!
I never had issues like this.

They sent someone out to me when it was convenient for me, they then submitted.
I got a quote from BMW ARC which they then accepted, got the work done and picked the car up.

I did however have an issue as I filed 3 claims which they then read as 2. Each claim has a limit of I think R3000 or R3,500. So make sure that if there are a few that you file them seperately (as in , call them a few times and get a reference number for each).

This was the only discrepancy I had with them which was duly resolved.
