BMW SA - VALUE OIL SERVICE

So yesterday I went to my local builders and they have 5L Liqui Moly LL04 for R800. Will get that and a filter from goldwagen and have the oil changed

Surely R800 + filter + paying an indie is not going to be much cheaper than R1200? The big part of your quote was probably the cabin microfilters (which are worth getting from elsewhere and fitting yourself). The last time I was quoted on wipers and filters it was more than the actual 'working' components LOL - Apparently in BMW's mind, 8 iridium spark plugs should have the same price as a paper/rubber filter or two  Also 2 wiper blades vs 2 coil packs? Same price LMFAO

@shauwn also baffled by them excluding the turbo M cars (including the packages) since since they don't use the more expensive/fancier oil that the older NA ones did

To be honest I don't have the time to train and provide them with information about their current oil special.

Would rather put in better oil, get the filter from BMW or Bosch and pay the labor. May cost a bit more and would avoid me pulling out whatever hair I have left on my head 🙃

You have to book online. You will get an email back with a price based on your VIN.
I got called back by ABM to confirm my service slot.
Show them the email.
Thats it. Its not a very big saving when compared to the Fanatics price we get at ABM (I saved about R300) but its still a great price.
You cant beat the quality of an OEM oil filter. Say what you want. OEM filters are far superior.
True. And they are usually made by companies like Bosch and branded BMW

Booked online and got a call from SMG Tygervalley to make appointment.
When I got there they had the voucher. Paid R1466 for oil service on my 330D. R100 included for the carwash and clean.
Nice to save some moolah.

This does not include M cars. I had a fight with BMW East Rand because the advert doesn't say excluding M cars.
Did you book online?

I tried to book at bmw east rand when this special first came out and haven't received an sms/call/email or anything :(

So I booked online on the 4th of October.
Got an email with the voucher.

Sent E90 320d in today at Autobahn. Had to present the email voucher and got charged R1100.

Maybe try the online booking. If you get the email voucher good and well. If not, then I guess its over.

Special ended 30th September
It hasn't, BMW SA has informed me that the special is still live and will remain as such, until end Nov 2021.

Follow what most have done in this thread and you should come right - most recently like Husain above(y)

Link in OP also updated from BMW SA.

I dunno man... it's either just me or it's bmw east rand. I bet there's some mailbox sitting there they don't even know about.
Husain's post and R!Yo's confirmation sounded promision so I tried again today, saved this screenshot (this time). Didn't get any immediate email but figured maybe someone has to click a button. Now it's 6 so definitely not happening.

I booked online 4 days ago. I received my email confirmation immediately. Then got a call from BMW East Rand the next morning to confirm date of service. My car went in yesterday and my service came to R928. That was brilliant service..

Speaking of oil, how many people stick with the “extended” CBS intervals vs just defaulting to 10k km/ year?

Ok I EVENTUALLY figured it out, tried all sorts like different browser, different email etc. Turns out if you select anything besides "Oil service" in the service type dropdown, nothing happens.

Just got this message from BMW via email when trying to book an oil service.

M & X series don’t qualify for the 50 percent discount
