Thank you all for listioning and for your support!

I had a meeting with Ewan (DP) and Grant (Sales manager), the results from the diesel sample sent to Castrol for testing had met the required standards to pass for low sulphur Diesel.

The above is in direct contradiction to the findings of Darren Nathan (BMW SA Technical Expert) and Chris Germishuizen (After Sales Manager of Lyndhurst Auto), who firmly pointed out that the diesel looked suspicious, discoloured, containing a high volume of paraffin and some water. Their diagnosis from their expertise was that the diesel would not nearly meet the standard required and was causing my vehicle to display the engine light and cut the power.

I have accepted Ewan's offer to purchase my vehicle at the settlement amount, lossing the amounts that I have paid in already.

This is a very painful experience as I am torn from a brand that I love!

I would've insisted on a refund!:argh:

You guys wanna experience real customer service?

Call your local KIA Dealer, book a test drive and bow at their superiority. Within an hour of the test drive I was called by KIA SA, asking what I liked about the car, the sales lady abd if they could improve.

Furthermore, the in dealer service was superb.

While the big companies screw up the underdogs will continue to rise.

My friend got himself a KIA Coupe two months ago and he could not stop talking about the good service he received from them during the whole purchasing process and even the calls he received after that.
Maybe because they are still new to the selling good looking cars lately but so far so good.

This is real BS. You're letting them get off too easily buy allowing them to pay you less.

I think it's too late. He has already accepted their ridiculous offer.:nonono:

Accepting less is unacceptable, but the worst part is they will wash the car and selling it again to another unknown buyer:argh:

Sorry to hear about your troubles, I had a similar experience with Leo Haese Centurion.

I would not even have paid for the windscreen, this is definitely one of the worst dealerships around. I understand why you settled for settlement value instead of full refund, you g@tvol by now.

I can recommend Club motors Fountains, of of the best.

Damn,

I'm sure i saw this car on their floor in Oct/Nov 2012.

I purchased my 2010 320d from them as well.

they are a bunch of idiots.
I doubt any Quality checks done on the car. List of faults too long to mention:argh:

best one was the rear left tailgate park light was not working, one on the many things they had to attend to on the car.
When i went to pick up the car, i started checking the car to confirm all the faults were sorted out. The service guy told me there were no faults reported on the computer so it must be working, after first telling me that only one side lights work on the bootlid. i then took him to their loan car(320i 2010 model), pointed out that he is talking bull. he spins me a story that they did replace the bulb - eish.

The USB port is faulty, he orders the part, when i sent the car in for replacing the part, they see that the part for the new F30 was in the box for the E90 - bull dust if u ask me.

Lesson - DON'T BUY FROM LYNDHURST AUTO
