Yes. It is beautiful. It is also fkn expensive at R235000 before options.
BMW SA have screwed the pooch here. I love the brand and fkn hate it sometimes.
They build something fantastic and BMW SA try to fist the market with that pricing.
I have seen the R nine T in the flesh and it IS all that, but not at that STUPID price.

The equivalent Ducati Monster 821 is R140000 (And Fugly)

For that money there are bikes that will blow your mind in comparison.
The Ducati Diavel for one at R215000. I rode one and it scared the bejesus out of me. 0-100 in 2.shityourself seconds.

Want a Cafe Racer?
Get a Moto Guzzi V7 Racer for R98000, fantastic bike. Beautful, handles well and you can wring its neck and it'll just forgive you. In fact you can buy two with ALL the extras and still have change from an R nine T!

A chap I know is rebuilding and old BMW into an old school cafe racer. Will try get some pics next time I go round there.

BMW has some awesome detailing, but I must say I far prefer the simpler and more honest lines of an old school cafe racer.
