BMW performance steering wheel V2

Hi guys

I just installed the performance steering wheel and it works great but I saw that if drive the car for longer than 30 min with it on and switch the car off and than switch the car on again after 5 min, the steering wheel dose not activate. I have to let the car sit off for an hour before it reactivates. Dose anyone who has the steering wheel have the same problem.
I installed it according the the original diagram.

Hi there,

This may not be of much help but, did you hold the 2 buttons at the thumb position on the steering wheel down? I know that this turns the steering wheel display on.

I know the wheel does not activate at very very high or low temperatures as well. So are you driving/ parking the car in a temperature extreme environment?

Just some trouble shooting ideas :=):

I do push the buttons to activate but still dose not nothing.

I was told to hold them down for about 3-5 seconds?

Are you in CPT? I could meet you and try help out? I've had mine for about 2-3 years now on an F20.

sorry bud i am in JHB. I have held the buttons for a long time and still nothing. When I start the car up I dont even get the welcome lights, as if there is no power.
