Why are these BMW performance parts to expensive? Enquired about a carbon fibre rear diffuser - R15,500!

BMW mark up is 100 percent...they really screw us the cost of that seat is around the R23 000 mark,my nephew gave me this price,he lives in Munich...

Arnt these just standard Recaro's with BMW stitching?

Beat me to it....I would just import the ones from recaro and be done with it.

Importing @ that price you'd spend R35k. $1,678.00 x 2 = $3,356.00 x 7.5 = R25,170.00 + 30% import tax = R32,721.00 + shipping (approx R3k?) = ~R35k.
