I received this email from BMW yesterday:
"BMW would like to make you aware that the Exhaust Turbocharger Additional Coolant Pump in your vehicle does not conform to our high standards of quality. This component necessitates replacement to prevent a possible thermal incident. Please note however that no incidences have been reported in South Africa.
Furthermore, BMW understands that this may be inconvenient. As such, we have taken all the necessary steps to assist customers, including special provisions to ensure that you receive priority treatment by our dealer network. BMW apologizes for this inconvenience. Please contact your BMW dealer to arrange the replacement of this component under your BMW Warranty. We would like to assure you of our continued commitment to motoring excellence and thank you for your continued support."
Anyone else received it?
