Does anyone know what the BMW Owner’s Circle is?

How does 1 register for it? When selecting the register button and filling in my details I get the msg below:

"According to our records, you are unfortunately not the driver or owner of a BMW Group vehicle."

Edit: is it only for M vehicles?

No , Any BMW driver can register , just put in your details and your cars VIN number i think.

thanks for responses gents, i also get the "According to our records, you are unfortunately not the driver or owner of a BMW Group vehicle" message for some reason. Tried my connected drive credentials as well but that didnt work.

Perhaps you need to be loaded at a dealer or noted that you are the current owner on their end? Speak to Kashen Chetty at Auto Bavaria... he had me set up when I bought the car.

cool thanks @TurboLlew ill have a chat with one of the guys. I thought they'd have my details already though because the connected drive has all your details and vin, etc already

Yeah, I couldn’t register either. Got the same message. One day at a dealer they took my details and next thing I got an email for the registration welcoming me to the circle.

If you didn’t buy from BMW directly (new or used) then contact any dealer to update your details on their system.

Found out why I was having an issue registering. The dealership that I used for the Motorplan change of ownership didn't submit my details so it still showed up at BMW SA under the old owner.

A rant at the dealership got it sorted out

@corp ya i think that was the problem, the sales person wasnt the greatest when i bought the car
