Hmm, so air filter, oil filter, 6.5lt of oil and labour for only R890? Sorry but I don't believe that.

Confirmed.

Took my Car for a oil service about 2 weeks ago at SMG Century City. When I called, they quoted me R1200 over the phone. Took it in and around 11:00am got a call saying they are offering me a discount on my service. Total cost after I collected it actually came to R879. Really nice surprise!

This was for my 2006 E90 320d

Yip, I've taken my car twice already for a mid service oil change at Midrand while under mp. R850 only includes oil and oil filter. That's for an e90 330i

Then you must worry if BMW even replaced the oil filter or the oil.. Take the same money and buy OEM parts and do it yourself or a trusted mechanic and you know it was done.

I'm still waiting for the fun air filter to be changed after being on the car for almost 3 years....!

I guess BMW have changed their idea on what an oil service entails as the air filter change was also part of an oil service some time back.:smashScreen:

Yep, I still do. But I only do about 400km or less on it a month, so it will be a while til next service. Serviced it at BMW last month, coincidentally.

But for the annual oil service... This is great.

Did anyone see this part of the special highlighted in Yellow?
This might just make it worthwhile considering its for out of motorplan cars?

Are they promoting Shell now? The oil cap on my car clearly states BMW recommends Castrol :crazylaugh:
Your thoughts?
