Wow, I've always loved these cars...must feel like a step up in performance.

I would colour code the side skirts and front lip, would look more rounded.

Definitely a step up in performance from the 320i E90 I had. Much more livelier and making overtaking decisions is much more easier.

My preference is to leave the side skirts and front lip black, I think the black and silver contrast each other nicely. I owned a Silver Metallic RSi 20V back in the day and the colour scheme was black and Silver, so will go with the same look on this car as time goes by.

Congrats.

Stock they are great cars to live with but if you are into mods, there is so much available on that platform.

Very very nice!! Very nicely spec'd! I like the black contrast too! Still not sure if I'd have the GTI over my TDI though :fencelook:

Very neat! Enjoy!
Give us a review when u spent enough time with her.

A review - I normally can give a very good review, so will try my best, but at this time I have no words for the smile I have everytime I drive this car and the sound of the gear changes in DSG mode

Stock I'm really enjoying this car, and caught inbetween adding some mods now or at a later stage. It's a huge up in terms of performance over the 320i and so so addictive. Feels like a little pocket rocket. Keep in mind the highest I rev this car is like 4000rpm and then I change, because that's when I hear the exhaust "fart" the loudest :inlove: I took her to Vredenburg yesterday and she 200km/h without hesitation...and I mean without hesitation.

 I definitely cannot match the consumption figures, but what I didn't like about the TDi when I test drove one a few years ago, is the lack of willingness below 3000rpm. The GTI is much, much more smoother in power delivery. On the other hand, glad to know here is a fellow G5 owner on the forum :joy:

Isn't it always in DSG mode?

On a weekend or public holiday - then yes DSG :inlove:
During working hours the car is governed to the "D" setting on the gearbox :fencelook::rollsmile:
