Apples and oranges - both fruit, but different.

You CAN'T compare a 2 seater Porsche with a 4 seater M3/M4. The similarities are purely superficial to the keen eye.

The difference between the Boxter upwards to the 911 Turbo refer to iterations of the same theme : performance sports car.

The BWM is a compromise - more likely comparisons would be a Panamera/C63. There are others.

Likewise, I believe the Jones' thing is superficial. M3/M4 buyers are either speculators or petrolheads - tell me you can't spot the difference between them!

GT3 anyday - drove a 996 a while back and feel in love with the brand...

Remember the m4 seats 4 people comfortably, big boot, plenty comfort features + a lot of power = All round great car, long distance trips + race day events.raise:

Now how many cars can be compared with this m4, ticking all the above boxes?

1. BMW m5/6 ( Second Hand)
2. Mercedes e63 (Second Hand)
3. Audi RS7 ( Second Hand)
4. Porsche Panamera (Second Hand + Ugly)
5. GTR (Second Hand )

These are the ones top of my head, I eliminated Porsche 911 and other exotics etc simply because they cannot offer to take a family of 4 to a holiday, comfortably and providing the same features of the above mentioned

2 - GT500
3 - Impala pillarless
4 - Skyline GT-R V spec 2
5 - Lotus Evora
6 - Noble M400
7 - Dodge Charger RT '69
8 - '69 Camaro Z28
9 - Lamborghini Countach S5000
10 - BMW E30 M3 EVO HP
and the list goes on and on and on and on.....
