Well the same can be said about your tii sticker.

but why do people put m3 badges on their cars?

Yeah i did think about that..

Dunno how to explain, but it's just not as bad

I wasn't gonna put the "tii" badge there but we had some fun in coral draw and managed to reproduce it so i thought why not :p

But there are no performance figures for the tii yet afaik...

Dunno M3 badge on a 320i it's just wrong! The legendary ///M ...

Yeah, it's my personal pet peeve to see guys sticking ///M right next to 325i. Or people who debadge their 316i and stick an ///M badge on it, on the wrong side of the car, or skew. You're a bit far from having an ///M, my friend.

On E30's, almost everyone who has a 325iS sticks the 'M' on their car because it's top-of-the-line. The thing is, the only reason we have the 325iS is because we were denied the real M3 from Europe, so SA made their own. :) I dunno, but me personally, I'd be proud of driving an iS and not some wannabe M3.

Take it off!

But here is the thing, ///M bagde can be added "IF" you have a 320/323/325/330 SPORTPACK as most of the interior is bagded on the steering, gearnob, pedals & side inserts.

It is totally WRONG to remove your 320/323/325 badge & replace it with an ///M3 badge.

Thats just my 2C!!!

The last thing I ever want to do is put an M3 badge on my vehicle and its not, only to come accross another and you lose by a trains length!!

Hmmm maybe that explains why I hear certain rumours about ST's running M3's. Are they really M3's?
I'd rather put a 316 badge on my car knowing that under the hood lays the surprise!!! he he he he

So many fake ///M badges going around I think I should take mine off. Though my dealer now says they check VIN before issuing replacement badges. And they wont give you a badge if you have sports trim, wheel, floormats, whatever.
The engine makes the car a ///M, either you have it or you dont.
