Interesting first post bud! Seems like it was in a front accident due to faulty temp sensor and orange corner markers, these are supposed to be clear on the 4 door, could be wrong bout the accident but it's the conclusion I have come to!

Yes i am aware. You are very observant :=): He pointed that out to me yes. "bmwforlife" is my brother. He was so kind as to literally give me his old E36 M3 Dakar Yellow 1998. I'm actually a full blown Toyota enthusiast not fan so that was his way of reeling me in. I'm an open minded guy but heart will never leave Toyota though:nonono: So now i drive an emmaculate 1984 RWD Corolla and an M3...check that mixture

The White M3 is great nick must say.Besides obvious bump in front. Old chap selling car.

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3-Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M. M3 models have been derived from the E30, E36, E46 and E90/E92/E93 3-series, and sold with coupé, saloon and convertible body styles. Upgrades over the "standard" 3-Series automobiles include more powerful and responsive engines, improved handling/suspension/braking systems, aerodynamic body enhancements, and interior/exterior accents with the tri-colour "M" (Motorsport) emblem. Over the years the M3 and M5 have become the benchmark vehicle against which most sport sedans in its class are compared despite fierce competition from Mercedes-AMG and Audi quattro GmbH.[1][2].

If all else seems in order not a bad buy! not a major thing to change back to clear indicators! If anyone is looking for one of these could be well worth looking at! Thanks for the info bud!

Did he give any indication of how severe the front bump was?

Yes Colin (seller) is struggling to sell it. The bump in front on the grille according to Colin was caused by him driving into his wife's car. How it exactly happened we'll never know. The grille is fine just the metal housing the grille is bent backward. I guess he replaced the grille only. Said it would cost bout 1k to fix. The price has dropped from 100k to 98k. His M delivers a great drive. When i pushed his cons.button up popped 9,7l/100km. I asked how the heck he managed that because my M3 (which was sponsored by my bro) returns NOTHING less than 12,2L/100km. How do i know this besides relying on the On board Computer? I fill the tank, drive 100km then refill...it needed 12,2L to fill her up again. Oh and another thing in comparison to Colin's M, my M has a horrible lumpy idle as if there are performance cams in. Even being a Toyota enthusiast i know performance cams especially high degree'd cams make your car thirsty.High degree cams giving more ''lift'' and duration of course. My M is however quite damn fast but being new to the BMW thing i wouldn't know what to expect so i'm assuming all M3 e36's are that fast. Never punched Colin's M3 on the test drive 4500rpm max...Oil temp was round 55deg only. So ja that's my story....oh before i forget...coming from Eerste River toward Kuils River side last night i get a chap with a Ford Focus ST..the road becomes one (because of road works) and he squeezes in before me..he blips his throttle releasing quite a hefty 2 flames from his twin exhaust. I don't take kindly to it at all. The flames told me one thing..chap is running on high boost for sure. I have faith nevertheless. Just before the road opens up into two lanes again (and i have the M in 2nd gear 4000rpm)... i blast down the throttle and so does he..we are neck at neck after bout 60m (still in 2nd) and i hear him change up...i still have revs left and by the time i hit 3rd he was a distant memory. The M impressed me big time...i know the M is pushing in between 220 -238kw from dyno readings i found in cubby hole. Those reading are obviously at the flywheel..incl losses through flywheel, gearbox, propshaft and diff etc would be lower i think. The ST standard is 180kw??? i wouldn't know...nevertheless...I most def represented last night :)
