Areas 330d pre lci made more then 600 torque....I also expected 4 turbos to be much more torque. But as MSO said, they targeting low down. Nice none the less.

Remember power to weight... These figures are launching a 2.5 ton luxobarge.

I bet if the limiter were removed it would accelerate at a constant speed right up to and beyond 300kph with hardly a drop in power delivery.

You also need to take into consideration the emissions limitations and the goals of fuel economy. Some tuning could unlock the true power of the beast :)

They actually building them much lighter now. Under 2 tons when i last checked :coolShake:

If you only want power figures, then yes. For response, the more the better. How it delivers power is just as important as the headline figure.
