I am with them, and they gone up twice over the last year...

I am paying R722 p/m on my E46 2003 model 325i exclusive.

mine went down actually, not up, by R23. They also automatically increase my house hold content every year.

I also have no access, and top up, and car hire, and road side assist.
OUT surance asked me R1015, and that was 3 years ago, thats why I left them and went over to bmw insurance.

Called OUT surance about a month ago for a re-quote, and they quoted me R858, with me having to pay R5500 access in event of a claim, no car hire option... :thumbdo:

you guys need to phone brokers, they go out and hunt for the best and cheapest insurance for you and then when shit goes down they do all the admin for you! and they will fight on your behalf and make sure you get paid out!

When outsurance phoned me I got a quote of well over a grand for my old 2002 E39 525, no excess waver, I don't even think that was fully comprehensive! I went through my broker and I ended up paying R239pm for fully comprehensive with all the bells and whistles. Don't be conned into paying retarded prices!

These insurance companies will rock your bank account properly if you let them! If any of you want to get a descent quote send me a pm and ill give you the number for my broker, she will sort you out with a descent quote!

mine is the same at Santam,

Try this: The last 5 years, the policy is in my wife's name, both of us as regular drivers of both cars, rental car, R2000k access +/- 20% saving because she is a girl

Take you policy and ask your own insurance company to match the policy but in your wife's name, bet you it will be cheaper.

I pay R2000 pm for 2010 335i, 2007 Landrover Discovery TDV6 SE (including neighbouring countries and 4x4 driving), my 2010 G450X BMW off road bike, wedding ring, my guns and house hold content of R400k
