Last week, thanks to Clean Car Tech, we had the opportunity to work on something special, a BMW i8. This looks like something out of the future!!!
The owner of this vehicle was quite particular and did not want the car to be moved from the dealership, hence we had to drive between the workshop and the dealer to make our templates and cut the basics shapes in the film that were going to be needed.
For this car, the owner wanted a full frontal coverage which included the full fenders, full bonnet, mirrors, headlights and bumper. We were also tasked with doing the smash & grab window film on this car (sorry I don't have any pics of the smash and grab job done). With all this we had only finished working on this car at 9pm that night!
