BMW F82 M4 Concept vs E92 M3 vs E46 M3

Here's our exterior comparison of the F82 M4 Concept revealed last week, against the E92 M3 and E46 M3.

The E92 and E46 are both in the Phoenix Yellow color, while the M4 Concept features a custom Aurum Dust color, which is similar to Phoenix Yellow in person, but with much more metallic properties and a less green hue.

Here's how the 4 Series dimensions compare to the E92 and E46.

4 Series Dimensions:

Length: 182.6 in (+1 in than E92 / +5.8 in than E46)
Width: 71.9 in (+1.7 in than E92) / +1.8 in than E46)
Height: 53.6 in (-0.6 in than E92) / -0.4 in than E46)
Wheelbase: 110.6 in (+2 in than E92 / +3.1 in than E46)

as with most of these cars looking at the pictures are nice.
but the proof only comes when you see it in the flesh.

i wasnt a fan of either the e46 or e92 when i first saw them.
but now im so in love with them its not even funny.

i assume the same will happen with the M4.

I've resisted so far.....but anyways,here goes,no doubt going to get sniped...I don't like the M4, it just looks too bling and over the top. Not sure if it's just that colour,but ya. Guess we are entitled to our opinions,but it looks gawdy and full of trinkets. The back looks big and plump,if you're a Beyonce lover,this car works for you. :fencelook:

I think the 4 door version will be nice and understated and will look the part,the coupe just looks over the top.

the E46 M will alwya be my number 1, especially in CSL guise, but to be honest the E92 M has grown on me alot, I wouldnt mind owning a competition pack, the M4 will probably grow on me in time.
