bmw f30 brake pad reset unsuccessful

Hi guys. I have just replaced rear brake disc pads. I have used the original sensor which is in a goof condition. I tried to reset the warning from the cluster but failed as its coming up with an error " reset unsuccessful "

Does any one have a fix for this.

You always replace the sensor whenever you replace pads. I tripped sensor is pretty much the only reason you can’t successfully reset the brakes. We’re the old brakes pretty much worn?

Where are you situated. You can reset the sensor it has not touched the disc and chaffed thehrough the link in the sensor. You need software to reset the old sensor
