that's why its regarded as just a facelift and not a complete new shape .. a few cosmetic changes but new development in moving the brand forward .. there was +/- 2200 changes on the e90 range from pre lci to lci ..

Guys, I've seen the pre production cars a few weeks back and it's a better car all around. All the horrible little shortcuts in terms of finish has been addressed, especially the 'thin' panels and feel of the current F30. This has restored my faith in the F30 again, it's just a pity the cars I saw are on their way now to be crushed :blueCry:

I saw a F30 330d LCI yesterday on the N1 passing Allandale. At first the tail lights caught my attention, something slightly different.

The front looks real mean with those day time running lights extending towards the grills.

Must say the changes in the bumpers, both front and rear does make the stance a bit wider and meaner than the pre lci F30's...

Apparently the 320i and 320d now come with twin tailpipes too, so that's another visible exterior change right there.

The top-of-the-line petrol engine in the BMW 340i comes with an exhaust
system featuring individual 80-millimetre tailpipes on the left and right, while
the engines for the 320i and 320d models upwards now come with twin
tailpipes, each 70 millimetres in diameter. The tailpipe for the entry-level
models measures 75 millimetres in diameter.
Great, changing the one thing that can be used to tell models apart at the moment...

Well R335 was last R700000 so 340i would be guessing R750 000 plus. I mean when lauched 335 was R500 000 or so now you can buy entry level 320i m sport for that
