Apparently there are two versions of the Model S - the one in the video is the performance pack version.

Not to hate on the Tesla, but the M5 launch looked a bit crap.

my radio controlled car would also beat the m5 to 100 and then get crunched as was about to happen to the tesla.

Impressive for a 2100kg electric car. At least we can say that Tesla is as close to a south african car company as it gets. Elon Musk founder and CEO was born in south africa and went to America after school and started Paypal and spaceX. Much cooler than that stupid fugly Joule we had.
