Pardon my noob questions, unfamiliar territory to me .

Are EVO 2s Wagner units? Overkill for stock 320i with no real future plans for power increases? Say if you only wanted to do;

FMIC
Chargepipe
Catless DP
Diverter Valve
And just software for error cancellation.

No these are not the Wagner units.

An intercooler is never overkill, its a great mod that will help the performance of the car.
These coolers bring down the IAT by about half and thus allowing the car to be pushed for longer periods and more often before feeling the effects of heat soak.

Just checking on these coolers? Are they replicas of the wagner or BMS cooler? Just trying to see if there's any info to read up on them? I am looking at it for my f30 335i

Yes they are replica coolers imported from overseas. They are based on the wagner coolers.
We have fitted quite a few and have tested them with great success. On a fanatics 235 we halved the IAT over the stock cooler(76deg to 38deg)over a single pull from 3rd to 5th gear.
3 back to back runs(3rd to 5th gear pulls) after the cooler installation saw the IATs go up another 4 degrees(42).
