Our local BMW dealership has secured Midvaal Raceway for racing on the 18th October,2014.(saturday)
Entrance is free to BMW owners.
Time 8.00am to 5pm.
A F30 335i will be used for drivers instruction and also as a hare to catch if you want to take your car around the track.

I might make an appearance...

Would be nice to meet, my car is registered for the event.

For sure, I would love to get the Coupe going round but the suspension is not yet sorted.

What car will you be using??

That info doesn't sound right.

This Saturday the 18th is an official BMW Car Club track day at Midvaal.

Info here:

Quite right it is being held in conjunction with the club, and, with the approval of BMW, as my first question was would BMW approve as no-one wants to race on tracks if it is going to affect motorplans.

So its not free?

I would like to register...

Are you sure the dealership is not just simply a sponsor for the event?
It seems strange to me that BMW Club is having a timed MSA event and at the same time a dealership is allowing any BMW driver to get onto the track for free.

The motorplan question has been debated ad nauseam already, just do a quick search on any of the previous track day threads for the low down.

No,just made a call back to Vaalridge who invited me to bring my M135i along and they will have their own F30 335i to take the guys around the track. Also confirmed BMW no issues as it will be controlled.
Don't shoot the messenger if you have any issues speak to Pio Foglin sales manager at Vaalridge Auto.
