not bad.

with some paint, prep and patience, you can turn your OEMS into wonderful specimens too.

True, but the challenge is that your car sits without headlamps while you're busy with the mod :thumbdo:

Not sure how much, somone asked how it would look in black so I googles blacked out e90 projectors, and came up with that, doesnt look bad, but you would have to change your halogen powered stock angel eyes to led angel eyes for it to look half descent else it will look terrible!

I would also recomend changing your default 4300k xenon stock bulbs to something a little more white or blue like 6000k - 8000k for the blacked out projectors to look cool. I recomend 6000k xenons over 8000k...8000k just doesn't let out enough light :( although the 8000k does look very visually appealing.

hey NavZ,

HID and Xenon is the same thing. you can choose what "brightness" or colour temperature you want your light output to be. 5000K is pure white and 6000K has a tint of blue in it. anything higher than 6000K is illegal i heard. the HID kit is your best bet to having better and brighter lighting.

you get the normal ones and the canbus ones. for your BMW you would need the CANBUS ones. our BMW cars are very sensitive. they tell you when you have changed something in the car that it does not like. so to "fool" the computer box we add in an error cancellor. this is a CANBUS kit.

a projector is as the name suggests. it projects the light going through it. a car with xenon headlights and no projectors scatter the light in all direction and even into oncoming drivers' eyes. so to control where we want the light to be (on the road) we put in these projectors with a shutter between the lens (glass "ball") and the xenon bulb. when we need the brights we energise a solenoid that pulls the shutter down and lets "more" light through.

a projector without a shroud (or mask) looks shit. the shroud is the thing that fits around the projector to make it look good.

hope this helps buddy.

Well done Vishal - only saw this post now :joy::joy::joy:

Ok now answer the man's first question so the CPT guys can start making plans
