lol so like u can put angel eye halo's in as well?

once you have the lens off you can put anything inside. i will measure the diameters and post an add here the size of angel eyes needed for the E90.

Great, great work Vishal!

even the overseas forum, no-one has ever done this! well done, you have accomplished something huge.

i definitley want this on my car for sure, just hoping i wont have any motorplan bitch-ups after i do it, thats the only thing scares me now.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone changed the headlamps on the E90. Most of the forums say that you need to remove the front bumper to get to the bottom screws that hold the headlamp in place???

my car started out as a standard 2005 E90 pre-lci with standard xenons and projectors. the car was in a front smash and i changed the front to look like the LCI. i also fitted the LCI bi-xenon headlights. you have to remove the bumper to remove the lights. there are plenty of posts (and on overseas forums) explaining how to do this.

thanks alot boet. really appreciate the kind words.
it will definitely affect your motorplan. as i said before they look for any reason to void it.

it would be a waste if we open the lens to put in projectors but leave out the angel eye rings. so i did some digging into standard ring sizes and took some measurements of the headlight bowls. this is what i came up with:

so now we can get the full monty. lol

Hey buddy. Please elaborate on the bitumen tape

hey

only place I now where to get it is from nissan dealer.

you should be able to do about 5-7 pairs of headlights with one "pack"

costs around R200.

it is basically a "snake" of bitumen. much easier to install than silicon, and once heated and "pressed" will give a water tight seal.

have you tried separating headlights by putting them in the oven?
when I did my bike, I tried a heat gun, and it was a mission.
then I tried a 100degreeish oven for like 5 minutes, separated very easy after that.

I tried one in the oven but the glue was not affected. But it was bloody hot. It is a silicon bases glue which is resistant to a certain degree of temp. The plastic will melt before the glue. Only certain headlights have the glue that melts with a lower temp.
