BMW E90 CIC Android Headunit replacement

Good day All,

I am looking around for an android headunit to replace my CIC iDrive unit in my 2010 E90 LCi.
Is there anyone that replaced theirs and can give me a bit of feedback perhaps on their experience with their unit.

I would still like to be able to use the steering wheel controller and if possible if the IDrive controller as well, I am not a big fan of finger marks on the screens in a car.
I'm looking for a unit with Wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play, and the main reason is to stream and make calls using Bluetooth. I would not like to lose the original I drive functions I had. I have the Logic7 system and needs to incorporate with the unit as standard.

I'm based in Middelburg but I am willing to travel to get it installed as well if anyone can refer me to someone.

Our stock comes in next week.

I've been using android head units for over 6 years now, my old e90 and e87 both had them and yes there's various quality/chips and warrantee devices out there.

All our units retain your stock features and no need for coding etc.

Install is fairly simple, and we can arrange installation to take place at your home if not feeling the DIY.

I installed a BlackSpider double din unit in my E90 but it didnt have the i-drive. The unit is controlled by the Steering as well and has worked well since install over a year ago.

I just ordered a Kremersino kSmart CarPlay/AndroidAuto module for my E90 with CIC.
It uses the existing screen, and retains all existing functionality.

Will post an update when it arrives and is installed, in my car’s thread.
