BMW E90 Alarm

I thought the BMW's blow the horn for a second or two when locking or unlocking, now you tell me it is absolutely quiet, I'll try the door unlocking thing tonight to see if the alarm works :roflol:

Hi, I have had my car for abt 2.5 yrs now, it always locked and unlocked with the lights flashing, I just drove from my sister now and when I unlocked the car to leave it chirped, at first I thought it was someone else car, got home and locked it, 2 chirps, again I thought someone else car, so I unlocked it and its chirping, lol,
I never did anything on the car, im clueless, personally I find it amusing but I dont like it, how do I turn it off,

The only thing I know is earlier today I went to the shop and locked the car, the alarm went on, came back pressed the open button, alarm off and drove,
I never do anything funny,

I know if I go shop and if the wife is in the car I press the lock twice thinking it will disable the sensor, not sure if it works,

So now, chirping, car cant have a mind of its own can it,
