BMW E90 330D- RK Motion

V1L3

@pump_upp - best crypto pumps on telegram !
For what it's worth, i have a 2007 320d manual that has RK software on it as well as a powerflow system and they estimate the power to be around 460nm and 160kw.
It hasn't been on a dyno though and i bought the car from durban and i am in cape town, but from my experiences with this car, the software really does make a huge difference against a stock 320d

Then the lci should get about 170kw

Minimum 170kw, 500nm

Yip that's what most guys tune them to and safely. Autobox should be fine at 500 nm if it's serviced every 100k kms

Hi guys . Someone just sent me this post :ty:

That 330D is still running running strong after almost 3 years with that sort of power and at almost 200.000 kms and a very very harsh driver the only thing that gave up was the clutch.

Since then we have redone the file once to try and get the clutch not to slip and we achieved it by limiting the torque at low RPM and ever since its been perfect (almost a year).

The car as always been dynod at Autotrix and for those that know the place will know that no free kw´s there, lol.

Stock it didnt even hit 150kw.

At Stealth after the last map

Achieved with Bigger cooler and dpf delete.

I have a RK polo, with DP, FMIC, BMW X3 turbo GTB2260vk, Making 240whp 520nm at 1.8 Bar boost, on stock turbos Keithan keeps boosting them at about the same as stock boost he does not believe in more boost to get better figures, moving on to a 120d and Keithan will be doing my software on the BMW so I will post some figures and graphs once its done. RK knows their stuff and service is what counts.

And any skeptics about RK would be glad to know the cars last as long as you treat them properly. Except for clutches haha....

Unfortunately no one in CPT.

It's just a pity their customer service isn't up to scratch.

I phoned after Keithan for the better part of a month to schedule an appointment & log my 330d for a remap.

After 2 broken appointments with RK, I threw in the towel and opted for Xcede - 48 hours later, we'd logged, loaded a base map, dyno'ed, logged again, and loaded the final map.

Hi Billy bob,

I am sorry you had that experience.

You could always have contacted me that I would of sorted that out.

Anyway I see you went ahead with a remap. Happy boosting; )

Where can I get contact details for the RK guys? Im keen to work my 09 330d Lci. Any idea the increases I could expect? Never dyno'd her yet being stock... They seem to be a safe option judging by these posts?

Introduce yourself in the New members subforum and post up some pics of your ride, bud. That's forum protocol

http://www.rkmotion.co.za

Dyno your car as she is (stock) so you have an idea of your gains when you eventually mod :coolshake:
