Hey all

The Damper pulley on my e90 320d N47 has a crack & needs to be replaced 😫

What’s your thoughts on the Beeline damper pulley vs BBR? The belt also needs to be replaced and thinking of replacing it with the continental brand? Will appreciate all the advice 🙏

Kind Regards

Dru

Hi Everyone, apologies for necro-threading. Have we reached a verdict on the BBR Vibration Dampener. My F20 BMW 120D requires a replacement and BMW quoted 11k for the part. GW quoted R4.5k for the BBR Part.

I would say go OEM if you plan to keep the car for the next 100-150k kms and if you don't mind spending the extra R6.5k. If you don't plan to keep the car for that much longer or you aren't prepared to spend that much, then definitely go for the BBR. It is a "reputable budget aftermarket sold by mainstream Euro parts shops (often with strong store warranties); marketed as a proper vibration damper, not just a solid pulley". I went for a non-oem one and I have been pretty satisfied since.
