Good day
My 320 D 2010 just lost power while driving, showed an engine check light then went off. The car now starts but not starting. It managed to start once but when you rave, it goes off and never starts again. It looks like there is low pressure from the HPFP though I didn't measure
Fault Codes:
Rail Pressure Monitoring on Engine start
Delivery control valve activation
BSD Battery Intelligent Sensor missing
What was done
1. HPFP changed as it has metal fillings and rollers were worn out (does this needs t be programmed)
2. If you change the common Rail, problem persists
3. Crank sensor working
4. the low pressure Pump seem to be working checked
Questions:
How many pumps does this car have
What might be compromising the fuel system?
Can the EPK fuel module be the culprit.
Is there another pump under the car?
What is the function of the electrical module attached to the filter under the car?
