You'll need to change the clockspring for the cruise control unit, lower steering column trim, have the new (other) steering angle sensor calibrated to the car, and the Vehicle order changed (cruise control feature added).
All in all not too complex, but you will need software for it to work properly, as the car can throw a variety of error codes, in my case, the DTC stopped working until I coded and calibrated the car, as it didn't know where the front wheels were pointed, and the clockspring had a different 01xxx number
The replacement clockspring is about R6500 from BMW IIRC, and about R4000 secondhand.
If your car has auto wipers it will cost a little more for the unit with the same stalk.
