Bmw E46 Throwing Error Signs.

Good Morning Guys

Lately my car start doing some weird stuff.

Problem 1
Everytime my Car lose coolant when park in the garage. I fill her up at with 1 bottle of coolant and drive for the day around. Next day she is still showing full but the day after that the needle drop and she needs again a bottle coolant to top up.

Problem 2
When driving her my eml light and traction control light goes on. When i stop switch the car of and starts again it , the lights goes off and doesn't show again immediately but appear now and again on the w.end.

I think my Gm5 Module have a influence over the Problem 2 or will test the battery this w.end. About the first problem i dont have a clue. maybe a small tear which cause this problem but i had the whole cooling system rubber hoses replace with new hoses so i am really fedup.

Any of you maybe experience the same stuff with the E46.?

With regards to the coolant,

Quite possibly expansion tank or thermostat housing. Easiest is to get a presure test done, takes 5 minutes.

Concerning problem 1:
My car was doing the same. turned out the bottle at the bottom where it clicks into the pipe housing on the radiator wasn't sealing properly, and thus dripping the coolant out.
I fixed that, just to find the hose on the top of the bottle, the thick one, was leaking, but spraying mist out so you cant see when the car is stationary, but downwards, also leading to the system needing a top-up constantly.
Like Donovan says, get it pressure tested.

Now, concerning problem 2:
Might be the wheel speed sensor giving problems.

The traction control light can also be caused by a steering angle sensor that is out of whack and needs calibration or replacement.

Coolant loss is caused by a leak, get it pressure tested as mentioned by other posters, common leaks on E46 are the expansion tank, thermostat housing, radiator side tanks, hoses or temp sensor seals.
