Bmw E46 330i towing E12/8 535i

Hi Guys

I want to tow my 5 series with my e46 330i.is this a good idea.? it is over 1000km from west coast to Postmasburg.

before i install a towbar etc. what do you guys think. i think the e12 is 1600kg.

It will hold up.
The maximum un-braked towing weight is usually in the owner's manual.

On a 330d..its 1800kg towing capacity...

so you should be ok with 1600kg on your 330i

On a 330d..its 1800kg towing capacity...

so you should be ok with 1600kg on your 330i

confirmed ....a 328i pulls 1700kg capacity...

you should be able to do the 1600kg no probs:thumbs:
