hi Every 1.

i am in the market for a preowned BMW but cannot make up my mind between E46 or E90, most of e46 ive seen so far price range is even over the E90. In terms of reliability and problems which is one is better option. Will be getting it end of august and my budget is around 150K.:ty:

Well firstly, the E46 320 is a 6 cylinder and the E90 320 is a 4 pot - same badge different sounds :). If you do a search you will find that the E46 320 actually is not really value for money, rather go for a 325 or 330 as the fuel consumption is almost the same. The E90 320 is a good basic every day car, but under powered especially in auto. Rather suggested a 323 or 325 in that range.

IMO R150k is definitely E90 money, you could easily find a 320d or 325 ! Good luck with your search

Yep, if you can find a clean model, but I would not pay R150k for an E46 - that's E90 territory .... even seen a few E90 330i's go for that low, but obviously high mileage models.

R150k is a decent budget and you can easily pick up E90's for that money although I prefer the look of the E46
