BMW e46 320d wont start temperature gauge go high when cold

hi guys ive got 320d e46 2001 have a problem !
i stooped at the garage to throw in diesel car was driving fine after they thru in diesel car didnt wanna start so took car home checked glow plugs to was broken so replaced all 4 but i notice when i put ignition on temp gauge goes into the red even if car is cold when i swing it still stays there and diesel pump is working and glow plugs ive even looked at the blue relay infront which i read can be a problem. But the car swing normal but still dont wanna start anybody know what can be wrong :nonono:

check the cable that goes to your temp sensor it might be open somewhere. it earths against the body and show high temp even if cold.

after spending 5 minutes trying to decipher what you wrote, i came to the conclusion that the garage might not have filled your tank with diesel.

seriously though, if you cant be bothered to articulate yourself clearly when asking a question, how do you expect people to take you seriously enough to try and help you?

they did throw in diesel lol nt petrol
and temp gauge telling me there is a closed circuit somewhere even if temp gauge earth should still start so im asking if anyone has experienced this problem and can help


and its by engin garage and i use same garage and same pump (always)
