What an amazing find..

Congrats man. She looks like an absolute gem. As far as visual mods go, pls hold on to all your original stuff should u ever want to revert to stock.

These rare models (imo) do seem to spark more interest when kept in stock form.

Drive her in good health and congratulations again.

Please share more pics when u get a chance

this is my twin, I have the exact same car, same colour/spec/etc right down to the CA plates lol
Only mine has 100k km's more on the clock lol
I also swopped the style 66 for the style 65 m5 wheel

That's awesome:thumbs: would like to see a few pics...
i am looking high and low for a set... i missed one that sold for about R6000.00

Will see if I can take a few a bit later

Perfect, thanks

Welcome to the maifa :cartel:

What an incredible story:thumbs: How much did you pay for her?

lol :cartel:

it almost played out like a movie!!!
I'd rather not say how much i paid, because i believe there's no price to happiness and this car brings me great joy!!!
Some people will say it's not worth the money, but i say if it puts a smile on your face and of course those are just as fanatical, i say its worth every cent ...

:smilebounce:

:ty: i doubt i will put that kind of mileage on it. for the moment it's tucked away for special occasions, i love the way the car looks and the stance. i will drive it once in a while, but definitely not as a regular driver.

You will say that now. I also try and do the same.

I sometimes go to my garage to admire my car and before you know it, i am in it going for a drive :tiptoe:

The joys:smilebounce:

LOL i can relate. Last week i sold my Mini cooper S JCW GP 2 which i had for over a year and i did a little over 1500km in that time.

What i had in mind... is this...

Man, that car still looks new.. Some 16 years later :praise:

Doesn't matter what you paid, so long as it ticks your boxes.. Fact is, you have a super clean, rare car :bravo:

Yes it does, and judging from the pics, if i tell you ... the car still smells like new, i am pretty confident you will believe me :D

hats off to the lady that maintained it for those 16 years, i am impressed.
i've got to do a few touch ups here and there to get her into excellent condition

can anyone recommend a good panel beater? i'm really really fussy about paint work

I freaking LOVE Tourings! :inlove:

What an incredible story dude! Haha that is absolutely insane!

Glad it's gone to a good home and I look forward to waaaaay more pics! :praise:

Exactly!!! i love them too and there's just something special about an e39 m-sport touring...

you can imagine how i was feeling when the cookie crumbled in the way it did!!!

i need to give her a good clean, the lady who previously owned it had dogs, so the roof lining has a bit of dog hair on it ...

Definitely More pics to follow... :smilebounce:

Nothing spectacular, other than:
buying two sets of oem wheels and fresh set of tyre
1. 18 inch oem M5 wheels (which I sold after a while, I wasn't too happy with them)
2. 17 inch style 32, narrows and wides from
And a detail of the interior

I will post some pics, just need to put them together.
