Hey guys, I'm new to these forums and was wondering if anyone knows if you can turn off the traction control in a 1994 BMW E36 318IS, or if its just a matter of taking out a fuse? Thanks in advance!

Nope of the e36's has traction control, not even the M3. Only ABS.

Not true

My 97 323i had ASC. I cant confirm whether it was present in all models or only the later models.

There was a button on the centre console, just in front of the gear lever that would allow the ASC to be switched off.

Correct. Late model 6cylinder e36s came with Asc.

From 97 the 323i and 328i were fitted with asc. 318is doesn't have asc as it's not powerful enough to need it.

I agree with Justin

The best advise would be have the car looked at by a professional mac there is something wrong if it won't spin
In the rain

@Kyle, at 50kph i didnt mean like a huge aquaplane, i meant a small twitch of the back, you feel it shudder on the wheel,

Ill rephrase my sentence so its easier to understand
