Bmw e34 m5 running costs?

Consider that inconel in valves has or should have a complimentary seat valve in hardness of material or you will be changing valve seats like you change your underpants.

So in building a performance engine one could use the best of materials however one should be mindfull that they compliment each other and are fit for the purpose be that outright performance with frequent rebuilds or longevity.

In using OEM the purpose was to attain longevity of the engine as it is fitted to what can be considered a "light body"

I agree with you on that one, by the way I like that s38 in the e30 looks great.

I posted on a US bmw forum and they say that only the exhaust valves of the s38b38 is sodium filled and that the s38b36 are hardened steel valves and they gave a few manufactures that makes valves for the e34 m5. What do you guys think?

m88 s38 have sodium exhaust valves.

It makes sense that the exhaust valves would be sodium filled as it is the exhaust that runs high temperatures.
I am sorry, whilst responding I had no idea that your mechanical "knowledge" would be akin to that of a beginner or I would have responded more fully.

No offence meant by the above observation.
