If the car is generally complete, and you don't over-capitalise, I can't see you loosing. Not sure about the licensing thing, but doubt it's serious. Good luck, it's an affordable classic, and should bring you many hours of fun.

cooool man , we had one of those back in the day
a 30s !......had a joke with a girl who told me once she only dated guys who drove a 30s (ford....shit those cars were voelag !) or a bmw...my answer :"I drive a bmw 30s"
she didnt last long....but back to the vehicle : those things had brute power, with a lounge effect inside, and boot to hide a family murder, and a truck steering wheel....

Cool project bud. Love those cars. Love the truck size steering wheel. My uncle had one and that thing used to be very tail happy in the rain. I had lots of fun back in the day with that. :bravo::bravo:

The licensing shouldn't be an issue.

A friend bought a e30 in laudium in 2010, came with pink papers.

Paperwork had to go to pretoria for verification, and it came back without issues.

Can PM you his details if you want, then he can explain exactly how the process works:thumbs:
