So..I had the 335 in for a service about 2 weeks ago as the service light with the mileage came on. Booked the car in and collected it later with new brakes and stuff done...Last week the service light came on again say oil service due :dropjaw:...So I didn't think much of it except maybe they forgot to reset the service light...Then my brake malfunction light warning came on.
Went to the dealership yesterday to have the lights sorted and reset the service light and to my amazement found out that the advisor didn't really know if the service was actually carried out on my car. The brakes was changed but he could not account for the service being done.

The car was rebooked for today. If the warning lights didn't come on I would have not known any better...:thumbdo:...I had to then leave 5 messages between 7.30 and 11.30 with the dealership just to get a progress on my car..:thumbdo:

So my Mrs was fetching the car now, she just gave me a call saying upon getting into the car she found the brake lights still not attended to. The guys at the dealership claim no one told them about it even tho they could see the warning lights on start up and me personally informing them yesterday.:thumbdo:

I've had enough with BMW now, time for some sort of 63...Merc's service has always been great...been dealing with them for over 12 years now and never had a problem...
ANYONE WANNA BUY A REALLY AWESOME 335i...

Mercedes is no better. Eventually sold my CLS 63 bcoz they could never even attempt to rectify an intermittent electronic damper fault or tend to faulty steering paddles. (I eventually stripped the steering and replaced this myself at my cost). On my SLK55, they messed up alignment 3 times. Not just slightly.... steering completely off! Now ive got to live with a rattly steering after they removed it. God knows why. I'll fix this at next service. Stopped taking my merc to a dealer when their techy destroyed the wrap on my fenders changing plugs. Just shows.... they didnt bother with fender guards.

My opinion.... a reliable, experienced independent mechanic is what all fanatics need.

I have always taken all my BMW's to Paarlberg BMW.
They are awesome and i have had some great service from them.
The tech that always works on my car is Brian, and he is very professional and looks after your baby.
Not sure if he is there still. Haven't taken my latest addition to them yet.

I had similar frustrations taking my car in recently, you leave the dealership after a supposed service and then warning lights start coming on when the car was perfectly fine before going in. I had to go in 6 times I was so irritated! then suddenly my bat became weak also while they had it and they wanted to charge me for a battery-charge when my car is still on motorplan.
I dread having to take my cars in, fearing they goina come back with some problems it never had before.

Your car looks awesome :inlove:, how can you even think about selling. Rather find another dealer to service it

Thanks guys:thumbs:...She really is an awesome machine:inlove:..I had my vent and didn't want to name the dealer because I wanted to see their response first.. They have come back and admitted their faults and apologised to both my wife and myself which I think is fair.
A representitive even drove to my wifes work place to personally apologise and drop off some M merchandise...

there's no excuse for that kind of service, but don't let one lousy dealership ruin your opinion of the brand. Just don't go to them anymore :yuck:

Btw what M merchandise did you get?:biglol:
