Hi Guys

I am just trying to figure out how reliable these cars are, I saw a 320d e46 with 369 000 and still runs smooth.

anyone seen others?

You just need to change engine oil as soon as possible you will definably see a difference in diesel mileage. Hope you understand what i want to say.
I also use ... and try to change mobile as soon as possible.

Turbo wasn't change but I had the bearings changed as a preventative measure.

Just don't hammer the car when cold. And change oil every 10k kms. The car did most of its mileage on its daily trip of 60km to work and 60kms back. Diesels and don't like shot trips.

e46 320d 2004 manual with 369 000km on the clock for R27 000, a bargain?

the car is in good condition

Can't say without looking at it. But you can get a much lower milage car for 50k... Also a car with that mileage tends to be neglected mechanically for instance fitting good shocks all round is going to be a third of the value of the car and will often not be done.

One of the above members sat that Just don't hammer the car when cold. And change oil every 10k kms. The car did most of its mileage on its daily trip of 60km to work and 60kms back. Diesels and don't like shot trips.

I think you need to do that and see the results.
