BMW Dealers and Chipping

In the UK all dealers can do remaps...seems like they're cashing in on the tuning market too...although here we can get cars remapped a hell of a lot cheaper than the dealer options..

The acs package costs over 100k!
For that u get exhaust, software and new speedo (think it shows 320km.hr).

Thats about all.. No extra cooling.
The price is ridiculous.

You guys should right a letter to BMW SA and ask them if Schnitzer is covered under motorplan. You will be highly surprised what there answer will be.

Acs is ridiculous, i phoned them when i had my 135, jose who does not work there anymore said it is +-170k if i can rmember, but i think thats kit and rims, its all a package deal plus i think power is 265kw which you can get 5-10k from excede or chiplogic.

Dinan in sa will be cool, I dont think bmw keep the warranty, i think dinan has there own warranty which is similar to bmw. Bmw dealers sell it. Chip and oil cooler.That would be peace of mind.
